In need of in-home services?

If you’re enrolled in Medicaid, you may be eligible for services provided by a Quality Service Provider!

Quality Service Provider (QSP): An individual that provides services to a community member allowing them to remain in their own home instead of moving into a nursing home.

QSPs provide:

  • Homemaker services such as housekeeping, laundry and shopping
  • Chore services such as heavy housework/periodic cleaning, professional extermination, snow removal, and emergency response systems
  • Personal care and hygiene tasks such as dressing, bathing and toileting.
  • Non-medical transportation that allows individuals to use essential community services, such as grocery, pharmacy, banking, post office, laundromat, utility company and social security office, in order to be successful in their home

QSPs are often members of the community or loved ones of the individual. A QSP does not need a license or certificate to provide care, but simply needs to show they are “qualified” to provide the care needed.
